Scott Manning has significant experience in human resources and recruitment, with their earliest role as AVP Corporate Staffing Manager at United Bank from 1985 to 1988. Scott then worked as Manager, Professional Relations at CIGNA Healthcare from 1988 to 1990, before joining FHP/Pacificare as Director HR / Professional Staffing from 1990 to 1998. During this time, they also served as Past President/Member of the Board of Directors at the Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (AAPPR) since its inception in 1990. In 1998, Manning became the Chief Human Resource Officer at District Medical Group of Arizona, Inc., where they continue to work. Additionally, they served as President of the East Valley Human Resources Association, a SHRM chapter, from 2001 to 2003.

Scott Manning SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CPRP pursued their education beginning from 1976 to 1978, where they attended Phoenix College and obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Business. Following this, from 1978 to 1982, they enrolled at Arizona State University, specializing in Business and Personnel Management, and acquired a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree.
