Samantha Murdoch

Samantha Murdoch is an experienced social service professional with a robust background in community housing and support services. Currently serving as a Case Manager for Community Housing at the District Municipality of Muskoka since September 2021, Samantha has previously held positions as Case Aide for Homelessness and Caseworker for Ontario Works and Homelessness at the District of Parry Sound Social Services Administration Board. Additional roles include Restorative Schools Engagement at Peacebuilders Canada, Social Service Worker at Trillium Support Services, and Youth Worker at Horizons For Youth Toronto. Earlier in their career, Samantha worked as a Child and Youth Worker at Youthdale Treatment Centres, School-Age Program Coordinator, and Inclusion Specialist at YMCA Canada, and also participated in recreation programming at Delta Rocky Crest Resort. Samantha's educational background includes a Social Service Worker degree from George Brown College, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Laurentian University, and an Early Childhood Education degree from Canadore College.
