Jay Penuel

Jay Penuel is an experienced American Sign Language Interpreter and ADA Coordinator based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. With over 18 years of experience providing interpreting and transliteration services, Jay specializes in medical, technical, conference, platform, and legal settings, as well as government and special events. Current roles include serving as ADA Coordinator for the District of Columbia Board of Elections and previously as a Sign Language Interpreter for Inova Health System and Gallaudet University. Additionally, Jay has held various positions related to interpreting and contract administration within the DC Government Department on Disability Services. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University and completed a program at Prince George's Community College in 2016.
