Krista H.

Krista H. is an experienced professional in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial analysis. Currently serving as Section Manager for Business Applications and GIS at the District of North Vancouver since August 2016, Krista has also held the position of GIS Coordinator. In addition to this, Krista is actively involved with URISA BC as a Board Member and has held the role of Board President since January 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a GIS Analyst for Community Maps at Esri Canada and a Mapping/GIS Consultant at Open Policy. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Spatial Analysis from Toronto Metropolitan University, an Advanced Diploma in Geographic Information Systems from The British Columbia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology from Bishop's University.
