Tanja Oswald is a community planner currently employed by the District of North Vancouver since October 2024, focusing on updates to the District's Official Community Plan and community planning initiatives. Previously, Tanja served as a Senior Planner and Senior Analyst at the First Nations Health Authority from May 2022 to September 2024, and as a Junior Consultant at Urban Matters CCC. Tanja's experience at the City of Vancouver involved roles as a Planning Analyst and Planning Assistant III, contributing to the Vancouver Plan and the long-range arts and culture plan. Additional experience includes work as a Community Planning Assistant for the Musqueam Indian Band and as an Assistant Language Teacher with the JET Programme in Canada. Tanja holds a Master's degree in Urban/Community and Regional Planning from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Queen's University.
