Town of Caledon
Kyle Munro, MCIP, RPP, serves as a Community Policy Planner with the Town of Caledon since April 2013, specializing in policy research and development focused on environmental, agricultural, and source water issues. Munro has led significant projects, including the successful administration of a municipal-based Official Plan Amendment that achieved approval without appeal. Previous experience includes roles as a District Planner for the Ministry of Natural Resources and as an Environmental Planner with AECOM and the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority, where responsibilities included conducting environmental assessments and ensuring compliance with regulations. Munro holds a Master’s degree in Rural Planning and Development from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Carleton University. Additional training includes participation in specialized workshops and summer schools.
