Jose Alberto Hernandez has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Jose Alberto started their career as an Assistant Service Manager at Call Center C.F.A. in 2005 and worked there until 2008. Following that, they worked as a Supervisor at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Inc. from 2009 to 2011. Jose Alberto then joined sweetgreen as a General Manager from 2011 to 2013. After that, they worked as a Supervisor at Chopt Creative Salad Company from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they joined GCDC as a Kitchen-Line Professional, where they worked until 2015. Currently, they are working at District Taco, where they have held various roles including General Manager, Regional Manager, Senior Regional Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Operations since 2021.
Jose Alberto Hernandez attended Universidad de El Salvador from 2005 to 2008. Jose Alberto pursued a degree in Engineer in Computer but did not graduate.

In 2009, two neighbors got together over some homemade chips, salsa and guacamole and decided to launch District Taco as a food truck. District Taco has since grown and now operates multiple locations in and around Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Our mission is to serve quality Mexican (Yucatan style!) food that is fresh, simple and healthy. All of our food is made fresh daily from quality ingredients. We strive to limit our impact on the environment by serving in environmentally-friendly packaging where possible.
