Elias H.

Elias H. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Elias started their career as a Marketing Specialist and Editor/Social Media/Graphic Designer at IAP Worldwide Services in 2011. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an HR Associate - Consultant at The ONE Group and Yodle, providing administrative support to the HR function. In 2012, they also joined Spotify as an HR Generalist, where they implemented various HR processes and provided support to managers and employees.

In 2014, Elias transitioned to a Human Resources Director role at JOE & THE JUICE, where they resolved employee relations issues and provided HR advice to senior management. Elias then moved on to Splice.com as a Senior Manager of People Operations for a short period in 2018.

From 2018 to 2020, Elias worked at Cargo Systems Inc. as the Head of People, overseeing various People Operations functions and implementing strategies to improve employee performance and engagement.

In 2020, Elias joined DistroKid as the Head of People & Culture and was later promoted to the role of VP of People & Culture in April 2022. In these roles, they have been responsible for developing and implementing people-related programs and strategies to support company growth and maintain a positive organizational culture.

Lastly, Elias has served as a Human Resource Manager in the Army National Guard from 2008 to 2014. During their time there, they managed personnel systems and operations, ensuring the readiness and well-being of soldiers.

Elias H. completed a Bachelor's degree in Humanities and Arts, Communications and Theatre, and Psychology from Charleston Southern University in 2010. From 2008 to 2010, they also engaged in Army ROTC, Military Science, and Operations at The Citadel. Elias later pursued a Master of Science degree in Management and Human Resource Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they completed from 2012 to 2014.
