Amber Swope is a seasoned professional in information architecture and technical communication with extensive experience across multiple industries. Currently a DITA Specialist at DITA Strategies Inc. since 2008, Amber also serves as President and Founder of IP by Design, which focuses on helping organizations optimize content for evolving customer needs and technologies. Previous roles include Senior Solutions Consultant at JustSystems, Information Architect at IBM, and Principal Technical Writer at Rational Software. With a Master’s degree in Technical and Professional Writing from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Wheaton College, Amber Swope possesses a strong educational background that complements a prolific career in content development and strategy.
