Osman Zeki Sever

Osman Sever, who graduated from ITU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, received his MBA degree in 1992 and has worked in various companies operating in the automotive industry in Turkey and abroad since 1987.

Sever, who started his career in Oyak Renault's engineering department, later worked in product, strategic planning and export departments. Sever served as Export and Business Development Manager and Sales Manager at Ford Otosan, Assistant General Manager for Sales and Business Development at Karsan, and General Manager at Tırsan. He took on the duties of C Level in charge of Business Development and Strategy, and then Deputy Group COO. During this period, he worked in various merger and acquisition projects of GBAuto, and took part in the entry of Chinese automotive and tire companies into different Middle East markets, primarily Egypt.

Osman Sever, who served as the Secretary General of the Automotive Industry Association (OSD) between 2015 and October 2019, served as the Deputy Chairman of TOBB Automotive Industry Assembly and OTAM A.Ş. He served as a Member and Chairman of the Board of Directors and represented the automotive industry of the country in the Global Automotive Industry Associations Association OICA and the European Automotive Industry Association - ACEA. Osman Sever, who served as the chairman and rapporteur of the committee that carries out the studies of the Automotive Industry Working Group Report prepared within the scope of the 11th Development Plan, pioneered the establishment of the Trailer Industrialists Association - TREDER in 2007 and served as the first Chairman of the Board of the Association.
