Glada Lahn

Glada Lahn serves as the Senior Geopolitics, Energy and Climate Lead at the Ditchley Foundation since September 2025, focusing on energy and climate discussions amid evolving geopolitical and environmental circumstances. Prior to this role, Lahn spent nearly 18 years at Chatham House, initially as a Research Fellow and later as a Senior Research Fellow in Energy & Development, engaging with energy transition, sustainable practices in humanitarian contexts, and global energy security issues. Lahn has also worked as an independent consultant in the Middle East on energy governance, and held a senior researcher position at the Gulf Centre for Strategic Studies, contributing expertise in Middle East affairs and international security. Academic credentials include a Master's in Near and Middle Eastern Studies and a Bachelor's in Arabic from SOAS University of London.
