Roland Bijl

Roland Bijl is an experienced Cost Controller and Engineer with a diverse background in cost engineering and business control across various industries. Currently serving as a Cost Controller at GIDARA Energy since January 2024, Roland is involved in innovative projects converting non-recyclable waste into advanced biofuels. Previously, Roland held senior cost engineering roles at Ditio and Verwater-SJR Tank, along with supervisory positions at Gunvor Petroleum and multiple projects at Cost Engineering Consultancy. Roland’s expertise includes cost estimation, control, validation, and planning for prominent companies such as Lyondell Basel, Shell, and DSM. Roland holds a Certified Cost Engineer (CCE) qualification and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from HTS Werktuigbouwkunde.
