John Porter is currently the Medical Director at Diurnal. John has previously worked as the Medical Director at GSK, where they were responsible for managing the integration of Novartis Vaccine legacy brands and medical team into GSK portfolio. Prior to that, they were the Vaccines medical lead for UK, Ireland and Nordic nations at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics. Porter has also worked as the Medical Team Lead Rare Diseases and Account Operations at Pfizer, where they managed medical teams covering Haemophilia, Anti-infectives, Endocrinology, Pulmonary Vascular Disease, Amyloid disorders, Account Management and Joint Working. John also served as a Medical Advisor at Pfizer, providing medical support for Grwoth hormone and Acromegaly products. Porter began their career as a Specialist Registrar at Birmingham Children's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust before becoming a SHO at Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.

John Porter has a MBBS from Newcastle University, a PhD from the University of Birmingham, and a BA in Physiological Science from the University of Oxford. John also has a certification from the University of Birmingham in PhD.
