Michael McComis

Michael McComis is an experienced professional in emergency management and firefighting, currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Tarrant County College since June 2014 and a Corporate Trainer at Dive Rescue International since July 2013. Additionally, Michael holds the position of Technical Specialist with the Trinity Basin Incident Management Team since September 2019 and is a Crew Member with the Elm Fork Fire Module since March 2013. Michael's extensive background includes a notable tenure as Captain, Paramedic, and Dive Team Coordinator with the City of Lewisville from February 2002 until retirement in February 2024, and as a Firefighter/Paramedic with Keller Fire Rescue from November 1999 to February 2002. Michael earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree in Emergency Management Administration from West Texas A&M University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Tarrant County College.
