Sahil Desai

Sahil Desai currently serves as the Senior Director of Programs at Divergent since April 2024. Previously, Desai was the Director of Programs at Hermeus from May 2022 to April 2024, where collaboration with engineering teams, federal customers, and industry partners was emphasized to ensure that platforms met future defense needs. Prior experience includes roles at the United States Federal Government from January 2016 to February 2023, where Desai held positions as a Technical Products Manager and Technical Products Engineer, advancing technology products aligned with national security initiatives and leading teams in creating engineering solutions. Desai's early career involved serving as a Wind Tunnel Test Engineer at Boeing in 2015, overseeing a team to provide essential data for high-speed fighter jet performance. Academic credentials include an MBA and a Master of Science in Design & Innovation from Northwestern University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University.
