William Tatun, CISSP®, CISM®, has over 24 years of work experience. William began their career in 1989 as a Staff Inspector at the New York State Police, where they served for 24 years until 2013. In 2014, they joined Diverse Computing, Inc. as the Chief Information Security Officer. In this role, they lead operational risk management activities to enhance the value of the company and brand. William also leads the CJIS ACE team in providing comprehensive and cost-effective audit and compliance solutions to law enforcement agencies. Additionally, they are an in-house subject matter expert on Information Security, with a focus on the areas of expertise mentioned above.

William Tatun, CISSP®, CISM®, has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology - Security from Western Governors University. Before that, they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Herkimer County Community College. In terms of certifications, they obtained the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium in October 2002, and the CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certification from ISACA in May 2003. Additionally, they hold various other certifications, including the SafeSport Certification from the US Center for Safe Sport, the CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certification from CrossFit, Inc., and the USAW Weightlifting Referee certification from USA Weightlifting. William also has several certifications through the FL Guardian ad Litem Program, including Case Planning with Incarcerated Parents, Overview of Exceptional Student Education, and Psychotropic Medication. Finally, they have certifications related to weightlifting coaching and anti-doping coaching from USA Weightlifting and the US Anti-Doping Agency, respectively.
