Suranga Chandratillake

Suranga Chandratillake is a highly experienced professional in the venture capital industry, currently serving as a General Partner at Balderton Capital since January 2014. Chandratillake has also been involved on various boards, including GitGuardian, as a Board member since October 2019, and as a Board Observer for Hubilo and JOKR since February and April 2021, respectively. An active contributor to improving diversity in venture capital, Chandratillake is a founding member of the Advisory Board of Diversity VC since June 2017. Additional board roles include serving as a Board Member for Cobee, smol, Tessian, and Healx Ltd, with notable leadership in Series A investment rounds for Tessian and Healx. Education includes a Master of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, where Chandratillake studied from 1997 to 2000.
