Kyle Thayer

Kyle Thayer has extensive experience in reliability and continuous improvement, currently serving as Director of Continuous Improvement and Director of Reliability at Divert since March 2021. Previously, Kyle held the role of Reliability Manager at Georgia-Pacific LLC, where significant improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) were achieved. As Reliability Engineer Lead at Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, Kyle developed a lubrication program that led to an 88% reduction in alarming equipment. Prior experience includes managing a team of analysts as Business Analyst Manager at Capital One, where revenue increased by over $30M through improved credit policies. Kyle's career began in the United States Navy, where contributions included serving as Assistant Professor of Naval Science and as a submarine officer on USS Asheville, overseeing critical operations. Kyle holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA in Finance from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School.
