In his role as VP of Technology and Applications Nick is responsible for DiverterPlus’ product development, testing and optimization. Nick also manages DiverterPlus’ new product and technology development partnerships with third parties.
Nick graduated from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado with a degree in Engineering – Mechanical Specialty. During his college summers, he worked in the offshore segment for CSO Aker Marine and Technip Coflexip. Upon graduation Nick began his fracturing career Maverick Stimulation Services, a fracturing provider which specialized in pumping energized fluids. He soon became the District Engineer for Oklahoma and assisted on jobs in the Rockies and Tri-State regions. The opportunity then arose for Nick to participate as a working interest owner with an independent oil and gas operator, which in turn led to the opportunity to start his own fracturing company (Technology Stimulation Services, or Techstim) With his production and fracturing knowledge, Nick began to develop new products and methodologies to enhance production. Upon the sale of Techstim, Nick devoted more of his efforts into understanding and developing new products to advance the science of well completions. Nick has ownership in several smaller ventures including his independent oil and gas operator.
