Jan ten Have has a diverse and extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Jan started their career as a Production Chef at Golden Tulip Resort & Casino in 1987. Jan then worked as an Executive Chef at Calloway Airline Catering - Aruba from 1989 to 1994, where they significantly increased daily airline meal production. Jan later joined Divi Resorts in 1996 as the F&B - Property Manager - Cost Controller & Purchase Manager. In 2007, Jan joined Holland America Line as a Culinary Operations Manager, responsible for food production planning and preparation for thousands of meals. Jan returned to Divi Resorts in 2011 and held various positions such as Property Manager & Corporate Associate, Regional Director Resorts Operations & Casino Property Manager, and currently serves as the Regional Director for Casino Operations and Resorts Operations.
Jan ten Have completed their education in a chronological order. Jan first attended Utrecht from 1980 to 1983, where they pursued a degree in Hotel Management with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Earlier, from 1975 to 1977, they attended the Advanced Culinary School, where they obtained a degree as a Fully Trained Chef with a specialization in Food & Beverage/Bar Restaurant Operation. Prior to that, from 1972 to 1975, they attended Culinary School, where they acquired a Diplome in Basic Culinary School FOH/BOH, emphasizing Food & Beverage studies.
