Amy Mitchell's work experience begins in 2007 at H&M, where they worked as a Sales Assistant and later became a Manager in Visual Merchandising. Amy then had an internship at H&M as a Press & Showroom Officer. After their time at H&M, Amy worked at Countrywide Plc as a Residential Lettings Negotiator and later as a Senior Residential Sales Negotiator. In 2015, they took a break to travel and worked at Wines for Joanie in Tasmania to secure a second working holiday visa.

In 2016, Amy joined Fletcher Building as a Learning and Development Support in APAC and Europe. Amy later became a Talent Acquisition Partner ANZ and then a Senior Talent Sourcing Partner ANZ. Their responsibilities included managing end-to-end recruitment and proactively identifying and engaging with industry talent. Amy played a key role in hiring national leadership positions across various businesses.

Next, Amy worked at Datto, Inc. as a Talent Acquisition Partner APAC and later as a Talent Acquisition Lead APAC. Datto is a global cyber security company, and Amy was responsible for talent acquisition in the APAC region.

Currently, Amy Mitchell is the Talent and People Manager at Weel (Previously DiviPay), an Australian fintech company. Amy was the first Talent Manager there and played a crucial role in bringing all hiring activity in-house. Weel has recently secured Series A funding in December 2021.

Amy Mitchell started their education journey at the University of Chichester from 2007 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in English with Creative Writing and Media Studies. Amy then attended the University of the Arts London from 2010 to 2012 and obtained a Master's Degree in History and Culture of Fashion. In 2020, Amy enrolled at the Australian College of Business Intelligence and completed a Diploma in Human Resources in 2021.
