Russell Martin

Russell Martin is a Co-Founder and CTO of Weel (Previously DiviPay) since February 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Westpac where they held multiple roles. From May 2016 to January 2017, they were a Senior Innovation Consultant, responsible for developing and enabling the Westpac Group innovation strategy. Russell provided thought leadership on emerging technology trends and created new products and customer experiences. From April 2014 to May 2016, they worked as an Engineer, designing innovative solutions and providing technical expertise to technology projects. Russell also investigated the feasibility and business value of emerging technologies. In addition, they worked as a Business Analyst from February 2014 to July 2014 at Westpac. Before joining Westpac, they worked as an Information Security Analyst at Westpac from July 2012 to July 2013. Prior to that, they had a role as a Global Business Services Consultant at IBM from January 2012 to July 2012. Russell also worked as an Integration Developer at Atlassian from January 2011 to June 2011, and as a Sales Assistant at Dick Smith Electronics from November 2009 to February 2010.

Russell Martin attended Central Coast Grammar School from 1999 to 2009 and earned a High School Certificate. Later, from 2010 to 2013, they pursued a Bachelor of Information Systems at UNSW. In 2013, they were an exchange student at Penn State University, where they studied Information Sciences and Technology.
