Samantha Gold 👩🏻💻

Samantha Gold is a software engineer who started at Weel (previously DiviPay) in November 2021 as a Junior Software Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Software Engineer in April 2023. Prior to joining Weel, they worked at General Assembly from March 2021 to September 2021 as a Software Engineer Student, where they completed a 25-week Software Engineering Immersive course. During this course, Samantha gained solid programming fundamentals and best practices and developed secured full-stack applications using various programming languages and frameworks. Samantha also has experience as a Graphic Designer, having worked at AACo from August 2019 to August 2021, TAROCASH from March 2019 to August 2019, yd. Australia from November 2018 to March 2019, Retail Apparel Group from September 2016 to November 2018, and Bras N Things from March 2015 to August 2015. Additionally, Samantha worked as a Freelance Illustrator and Graphic Designer at Lonely Kids Club from January 2015 to October 2017. Samantha also served as a Graphic Artist & Marketing Assistant at Midford from September 2015 to June 2016 and worked as a Graphic Design Intern at Bras N Things in November 2014.

Samantha Gold attended General Assembly Australia in 2021 to study Software Engineering. Although they did not obtain a degree, they completed the Software Engineering Immersive program and received a certification from General Assembly in October 2021. Prior to that, Samantha attended St George tafe from 2011 to 2014, where they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design.
