Alice Chen

Alice Chen is a technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and cloud infrastructure. Currently serving as CTO and Co-Founder of a stealth mode startup since July 2024, Alice previously held the position of CTO and Co-Founder at OpenContext from September 2021 to April 2024, where the focus was on technology product delivery and team collaboration. As a Committer and PPMC Member for The Apache Software Foundation since May 2015, Alice has contributed to various open-source projects. Alice's prior roles include Principal Solutions Architect at Armory, where public speaking engagements addressed topics like security in open source and the implementation of Spinnaker, and a Principal DevOps Engineer at Informatica, leading cloud infrastructure initiatives and team development. Earlier career experiences include a Systems Software Engineer role at HP and a Technology Analyst position at Accenture. Alice holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
