Hassam Solano-Morel

Hassam Solano-Morel has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Hassam is currently a Software Engineer II - Customer Experience at divvyDOSE, starting in July 2021. Previously, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at the College of Charleston from January 2022 to May 2022.

Prior to their teaching experience, Hassam served as a Software Engineer at BoomTown - Real Estate Platform from November 2020 to July 2021. Before that, they held the position of Associate Software Engineer at the same company from October 2018 to November 2020.

Hassam also has experience working at Apple, where they served as an Inventory Specialist from October 2016 to October 2018, and as a Product Zone Specialist from August 2015 to October 2016.

Furthermore, they have worked at the College of Charleston as a Graduate Assistant from August 2017 to December 2018, supporting undergraduates in the Computer Science department for courses such as data structures, algorithms, computer organization, and assembly language programming. Additionally, they worked as an R-Shiny Data Tools Developer from September 2016 to March 2017, creating data analysis tools using R-Shiny and MySQL database. Hassam also worked as an NSF REU Student from June 2016 to August 2016 and as a member of the unPak Team from October 2013 to May 2016.

Hassam earned their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer and Information Sciences, specifically specializing in Software Engineering, from the College of Charleston. Hassam attended the College from 2017 to 2019. Prior to their master's degree, Hassam obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution. Hassam studied at the College of Charleston from 2013 to 2017.

Before attending college, Hassam graduated from Batesburg-Leesville High in 2013. Hassam received their High School Diploma and studied Biology as a general field of study.

In addition to their formal education, Hassam obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance in November 2020.
