Prathi P. is an accomplished outreach and development manager with extensive experience in fund development and event coordination. Currently at Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre since May 2021, Prathi P. manages fund development strategies, cultivates relationships with various stakeholders, provides strategic insights to leadership, and oversees communications. Previously, at Frontier College from 2017 to 2020, Prathi P. led significant fundraising events that raised over $750,000 and developed impactful communications for fund development. Prathi P. also served as the fund development and events coordinator at Women's Legal Education and Action Fund, coordinating successful fundraising events and enhancing donor engagement. Prathi P. holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English, History, and Women's Studies from the University of Toronto Scarborough, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Festivals, Events, and Conferences Management from Centennial College, and is pursuing a Certificate in Creative Writing at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies.

Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre

Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre was founded in 1988 by concerned members of the community to enhance the quality of life of those residing in the Dixie Bloor area. Programs offered are free of charge and responsive to the needs of the community including programs for newcomers, job seekers, youth, family, seniors, and many more. Staff, volunteers and neighbors work together to identify and discuss issues and concerns, develop and provide services and programs to meet the needs of the community, and promote community participation. Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre’s mission is to foster an atmosphere which will encourage our community as a whole to participate in and develop a positive, healthy and caring neighbourhood.
