Michael Vlach is an experienced educator and coach, currently teaching Computer Technology and Advanced Topics in Computer Science at Dixon Unified School District since August 2005, alongside various AP Computer Science courses. As head swim coach at Dixon High School since 2017, Michael manages workouts and meets while also contributing to the water polo program through skill development and administrative support. With a role as an AP Reader for ETS since 2017 and previous experience in the I-STAR program at UC Davis, Michael demonstrates a commitment to improving STEM education. Academic qualifications include an M.A. in Education from the University of California, Davis, and a B.S. in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
