Augusto Veiga

Augusto Veiga is an experienced naval architect and engineer with a robust background in marine systems and project management across various roles in notable companies. Since August 2025, Augusto has served as the Lead Naval Architect at Dixstone, focusing on the Cap Lopez FLNG project. Previously, from April 2022 to August 2025, Augusto held the position of Technical Director FSRU at New Fortress Energy, emphasizing innovative approaches to FSRU systems. Augusto's extensive experience at Worley included leading marine and naval engineering disciplines, while earlier roles included impressive contributions as Contracts Manager at INACE and Naval Projects Manager at Arpoador Engenharia. Augusto's educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from the University of Southampton and a M.Sc. in Naval & Ocean Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
