Yasuo Takane

Yasuo Takane is a highly experienced engineering professional specializing in image quality design and imaging technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at DJI since January 2016, Yasuo focuses on aerial photography and digital imaging innovations. Prior to this role, Yasuo worked as a Digital Imaging Senior Expert and Senior VLSI Designer at Brillnics Japan Co., Ltd., where efforts were directed towards next-generation image sensor and signal processing development. Yasuo's extensive experience also includes a tenure as a Principal Researcher and General Manager at Samsung Electronics, concentrating on image quality for digital cameras, as well as a significant role as Project Leader at FUJI FILM, emphasizing the development of digital camera systems and image processing algorithms. Yasuo holds both a Master's and Bachelor's Degree from The University of Electro-Communications in Electrical Devices and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, respectively.
