Diego S. Cariaga Lema

Diego S. Cariaga Lema serves as the General Counsel for DKI Canada since March 2024, providing legal guidance, managing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Previously, as In-House Counsel at Odalisque Studios, Diego ensured adherence to health, safety, and business regulations while drafting and negotiating various agreements. An experienced Barrister & Solicitor, Diego owned Cariaga Law from October 2014 to January 2023, specializing in Family Law and conducting intricate legal research. Early career roles included positions at Rusev Kwon LLP and Brunga Law Offices, where Diego focused on Commercial and Family Law, and gained foundational legal experience as a summer intern and case worker during law studies. Diego holds dual JD degrees from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and the University of Windsor, alongside an LLB from The University of Sheffield.
