Shoupeng Tang

Shoupeng Tang is a seasoned transportation planner and project manager with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Senior Transportation Planner/Project Manager at DKS Associates since 2024, Shoupeng previously held the position of Associate Research Scientist at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute from 2019 to 2024. Prior to that, Shoupeng worked as a Travel Demand Modeler/Transportation Planner at Alliance Transportation Group, Inc. from 2014 to 2019. Earlier in the career, Shoupeng served as a Research/Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin (2010-2014), an Associate Engineer at Shanghai Jixiang Intelligent Transportation Technology Co. LTD (2009-2010), and a Graduate Research Assistant at Tongji University (2006-2009). Educational qualifications include a PhD in Civil Engineering/Transportation from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master’s Degree in Transportation and Highway Engineering from Tongji University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from Jilin University.
