Karen Mak

Karen Mak is an accomplished architect and business leader with extensive experience in project management and real estate developments. As the CEO and Co-founder of dkstudio architects inc. since 2007, Karen has established a reputation for excellence in architectural design. In addition, Karen holds the position of VP of Real Estate Developments at Highland Family Office, beginning in 2022. Previous roles include Senior Store Projects Manager at Louis Vuitton Asia Pacific from 2004 to 2007, where Karen oversaw the execution of landmark projects across multiple cities in China. Earlier experience includes serving as Regional Project Manager at HPL 21, managing store design for major brands in seven Asian countries, and architectural roles at Chan Kan & Associates and Chan Sau Yan Associates. Karen holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Toronto and studied at the University of Waterloo.
