Barclay T. Blair

Barclay T. Blair serves as the Senior Managing Director of AI Product Innovation at DLA Piper since March 2023, leading the PiperAI initiative aimed at transforming legal practices through artificial intelligence. Prior to this role, Barclay founded and served as Principal of ViaLumina, LLC from October 2001 to March 2023, establishing the firm as a respected consultancy at the intersection of law, technology, and business. Additionally, Barclay founded and was Executive Director of the Information Governance Initiative from January 2014 to January 2019, successfully growing its membership to over 10,000 while professionalizing the field of information governance. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Product Development & Marketing at PureEdge Solutions, where Barclay contributed to the company’s growth and fundraising efforts. Barclay T. Blair holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Journalism from the University of Victoria.
