Catherine Higgins

Catherine Higgins is a seasoned professional in business development and marketing with extensive experience in the legal sector. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Business Development & Marketing for Transactions at DLA Piper since September 2025, Catherine previously held various roles at King & Spalding from August 2014 to August 2025, including Director of Business Development and Business Development Manager. Responsibilities included leading strategy development for the real estate practice group, managing marketing budgets, executing pitches and RFPs, and cultivating client relationships. Catherine began her career as a Managing Director Assistant and Marketing Coordinator at Bernstein Global Wealth Management. Catherine earned a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, specializing in Advertising, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010.
