Carol Smrek

Carol Smrek has a diverse work experience in the legal and real estate fields. Carol started their career as a Vice President/Counsel at Acadia Realty Trust in 1999 and worked there until 2009. From 2009 to 2019, they ran their own law firm, the Law Office of Carol A. Smrek, P.C., specializing in commercial and residential real estate law. In 2011, they co-founded Golden Years Living Solutions, a service that helps families find senior residences. In 2019, Carol joined DLC Management Corp. as a Senior Leasing Counsel and was later promoted to Vice President/Associate General Counsel - Leasing.

Carol Smrek attended Binghamton University from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Following their undergraduate studies, Carol enrolled at Fordham University School of Law from 1988 to 1991. During this period, they earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
