Sumit Bhatia is an experienced professional in the fields of real estate and corporate management. Currently serving as Deputy General Manager of Advocacy at DLF India since March 2022, Sumit previously held the position of Deputy Director General at the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) from November 2018 to February 2022, where significant contributions were made to housing advocacy and FDI policy liberalization. With a background as Head of Programmes & Events at the World Association for Small and Medium Enterprises and Vice President at Unnati Fortune Limited, key accomplishments include successful project approvals and liaising with government departments. Earlier roles also include Assistant Director General at CREDAI and Manager of Projects & Corporate Communication at the Confederation of Construction Products and Services. Sumit holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Finance from the Graduate School of Business & Administration and a B.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics from B N D College.
