Kate Vega

Kate Vega is an experienced communications and operations specialist with a diverse background in various organizations. Currently serving as an Education Funding Specialist at DLR Group since December 2021, Kate has also held significant roles at AMPEL BioSolutions as Vice President of Operations and Director of Communications and Administration, where responsibilities included branding, public relations, and strategic partnership development. Prior positions include VP of Marketing and Communications at Ballers Elite, Communications Manager at The Surety & Fidelity Association of America, and Communications and Outreach Coordinator for I-CARES at Washington University in St. Louis. With a foundational career that began as CEO of Perigee, Kate has consistently focused on marketing, communications, and securing funding for educational initiatives. Kate holds a BA in Communications from UC San Diego.
