Lawrence Michel

Lawrence Michel is an experienced designer specializing in hospitality spaces, currently serving as an Associate and Senior Designer at DLR Group since May 2021. Prior to DLR Group, Lawrence worked as a Lead Project Designer and Art Director at Amanda McKenzie Creative, contributing to projects across various industries including museum exhibitions and retail design from August 2019 to May 2021. Lawrence also held the position of Project Designer at The Gettys Group from January 2018 to August 2019 and served as a Senior Designer at RTKL from January 2012 to January 2018, focusing on commercial interiors. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Designer at GALLO, Faculty at Kent State University, and an Intern at Design Forum and American Greetings. Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Cleveland Institute of Art, completed in 2009.
