Leanne Meyer-Smith AIA NCARB LEED AP currently serves as Design & Client Leader for the K12 Studio at DLR Group in Chicago, holding the position of Principal since June 2021. Prior to this role, Leanne was the Vice President of Architecture at Wight & Company, where responsibilities included acting as project executive and collaborating closely with clients through all phases of design and project delivery from February 2009 to June 2021. Earlier experiences include serving as Principal and Senior Project Manager at Newman Architecture, focusing on design, business development, project management, and master planning for K-12, religious, and commercial markets from February 1994 to February 2009. Leanne earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1981 and 1987.
