Nena Martin

Nena Martin, IIDA, RID, serves as the Regional Workplace Leader and Interior Design Leader at DLR Group, bringing over 25 years of experience in commercial interiors, with 19 years in the DC Metro area and currently based in Austin, Texas. Nena has established a reputation as a trusted collaborator for Fortune 500 companies regarding global real estate strategies and distinctive work environments. Previously, Nena held key positions at Gensler as the Global Technology Workplace Co-Leader and Director of Workplace, leading a team on various commercial interior projects. Nena also served as Associate Director of Interior Design at Cushing Terrell, where significant team expansion occurred, and as Principal at Focus Architecture & Design, overseeing large-scale projects while managing operations. Early career experiences include leadership roles at Matrix Settles Architects and BeeryRio, along with a foundational position as Project Designer at Morgan Gick Architects. Nena earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
