Teresa Rainey Pe

Teresa Rainey PE, LEED Fellow is a seasoned mechanical engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various prominent firms. As of September 2025, Teresa serves as the Mechanical Engineering Leader and Principal at DLR Group. Previously, Teresa held the position of Associate Principal and Team Leader at Interface Engineering, Inc. from February 2023 to August 2025. A significant tenure at EYP Architecture & Engineering included roles as Director of Engineering from September 2019 to January 2023, and as Director of High Performance Design from June 2015 to September 2019. Earlier career milestones encompass a directorship at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill from August 2006 to May 2015, and serving as Chief Mechanical Engineer at Vanderweil Engineers from 1998 to 2006. Teresa began the professional journey as an Associate at APM Engineering from 1994 to 1998 and worked as a Mechanical Engineer at The Austin Company from 1989 to 1994. Teresa holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University.
