Erwin Moerland

Erwin Moerland is a dedicated aerospace engineer and team lead at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), with over ten years of experience in innovative digital engineering methods for collaborative air vehicle design. Having contributed significantly to numerous national and international research projects, Erwin currently guides two teams focusing on advancing digital modeling and integration methods to establish a modern collaborative design process in aeronautics. Erwin's previous roles include research associate and project lead, where they developed methods for multidisciplinary design and coordinated large-scale EU projects. Erwin earned an Ir./MSc. degree from Delft University of Technology, demonstrating a solid foundation in aerospace engineering.
