Douglas Phelan

Douglas Phelan, DO, MPH, FAAFP, serves as a Family Physician at DMC Primary Care since February 2022 and has been a Peer Reviewer for American Family Physician since July 2017. Active in various professional and community roles, Douglas held positions such as Alternate Delegate for the New Hampshire Academy of Family Physicians and Executive Producer for TEDx Concord. Previous experience includes serving as a Family Physician and Ambulatory Quality Improvement Team Member at Elliot Hospital and contributing to Concord Chorale as Board Member and Chair of Marketing & Communications. Douglas completed a Master of Public Health from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and obtained a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Leadership training and committee involvement have been pivotal throughout Douglas's career in both medicine and community engagement.
