Mason Barker

Mason Barker has a diverse range of work experience, spanning from 2008 to the present. Their most recent role is as the Director of Strategic Product Initiatives at DMF Lighting, where they started in November 2022. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2022, Mason worked as a Real Estate Investor and Airbnb Superhost, acquiring and managing rental properties. From 2019 to 2021, they held the position of Vice President, Product Development at Luminii, where they collaborated with renowned scientists and developed a mercury-free LED product. Before that, they co-founded Optic Arts in 2014 and successfully scaled the company, managing a team of over 50 employees. Additionally, Mason has experience as a Project Manager at MPA Lighting, a Lighting Designer at Applied Minds, an Adjunct Faculty at Azusa Pacific University, a System Designer at New Horizons, and an Assistant Systems Specialist at Design One. Their roles have involved various responsibilities, including product development, team management, lighting design, and real estate investment.

Mason Barker received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Theatre/Theater from the University of Southern California, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their degree, Mason has also obtained certifications in Technology for Product Managers and Transitioning to Product Management from LinkedIn in 2022.
