Ian Begley

Ian Begley is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in various media organizations. Currently, Ian serves as a journalist at dmg media since April 2020. Prior to this role, Ian worked as a news reporter for Independent News & Media from January 2017 to April 2020, where responsibilities included writing and sourcing news stories for the Irish Independent and the Herald. Ian's journalism career began at Dublin Gazette Newspapers from August 2013 to December 2016, followed by a brief tenure as deputy editor and intern at Oxygen.ie in mid-2013. Ian also held the position of editor for the online student publication Studenty.me from July 2011 to July 2012. Educationally, Ian holds a Professional Diploma in PR and Marketing Communications from UCD Professional Academy (2022) and a BA in Journalism and Visual Media from Griffith College Dublin (2013).
