Rute Xu

Rute Xu is a skilled UX Researcher currently at DMSi Software since October 2022, previously holding roles as Product Designer and Business Analyst at the Community Health Plan of Washington. At CHPW, Rute successfully designed an interactive Scrum dashboard that doubled productivity for engineers and redesigned the Confluence site, increasing traffic by 80%. Experience also includes a Product Manager Intern position at Slalom Build, where Rute designed a Hackathon Management app, and a Product Manager role at iA Financial Group, overseeing an E-payment project that achieved significant operational savings. Earlier career as a UX Researcher for the Government of Canada led to the removal of outdated pages on an HR portal, greatly enhancing user efficiency. Rute holds a User Experience Design Immersive from General Assembly, a Master of Science in Experience Design from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Management Information Systems and Human Computer Interaction from The University of British Columbia.
