Flavia Gazio

Flavia Gazio has extensive work experience in various scientific and research roles. Flavia started their career as a Quality Control Researcher at CRIVIALLI DO BRASIL, where they developed improved liquid softener viscosity and analyzed physical and chemical properties of cleaning products. Flavia then worked as a Researcher in Natural Products and Organic Synthesis at NATURAL PRODUCTS AND ORGANIC SYNTHESIS LAB, contributing to research projects in organic synthesis and natural products.

Following this, Flavia joined Colegio Anglo Maringa as a High School Chemistry Teacher, providing assistance and test preparation for students. Flavia later joined Quantex Laboratories as a QC Chemist, conducting testing and analysis of raw materials and finished products.

In 2013, Flavia joined NATUREX as an R&D Laboratory Technician and later became an R&D Chemist. In this role, they led equipment planning and installation in the pilot purification laboratory, managed the R&D laboratory, and performed calibration of instruments.

In 2015, Flavia joined Abbott as an Associate Scientist, where they developed and optimized multiplexed PCR assays for detection of tropical fever organisms on a microfluidics point-of-care platform. Flavia also managed project timelines, supervised the production team, and created qPCR assays for in-house quantification of targets.

Most recently, Flavia worked at DNA Electronics (DNAe) as a Scientist, holding the roles of Scientist - Assay Integration, Sr. Scientist - Assay Transfer Lead, and currently as a Platform Integration Manager. In these positions, they contributed to assay integration and transfer, managed projects and timelines, and now oversees platform integration.

Flavia Gazio earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Universidade Estadual de Maringá from 2004 to 2008. Flavia has not obtained any additional certifications, including CPR.
