Johanna Virtaniemi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Johanna started their career as an Accounting Assistant at Elisa in 2004. Johanna then joined Ernst & Young Finland as a Junior Consultant in Assignment Services in 2006, followed by a role as a Transfer Pricing Analyst from 2007 to 2009. After that, they worked as a Key Account Management Support at Campbell Soup Finland Oy from 2009 to 2011. Johanna also worked as a Researcher at Ernst & Young Finland in 2011.

In 2011, Johanna joined DNA Oyj where they have held several positions. Johanna started as a Market Analyst in Business Intelligence from December 2011 to August 2012. Johanna then became an Analyst and Customer Journey Architect from September 2012 to May 2016, focusing on target groups, segmentation, and customer journeys. From June 2016 to April 2020, Johanna worked as an Online Insights & Analytics Manager, leveraging offline and online data to optimize the omni-channel experience and gain competitive advantage. Johanna later became a Senior Data Analyst from April 2020 to January 2022, and in January 2022, they transitioned into their current role as the Head of Data Visualization.

Johanna Virtaniemi attended the University of Turku from 2001 to 2005, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Organizational Leadership. In 2004, they also completed a program in International Design Business Management at IDBM.
