Seppo Pekonen

Seppo Pekonen has a diverse work experience in various companies. Seppo started their career at the Finnish Meteorological Institute in 1990, working as an electronics designer and project manager for five years. From 1995 to 2008, Seppo worked at AinaCom Oy as a Development Manager. Seppo then joined Sanoma Television Oy/Welho as an ICT Manager from 2008 to 2010.

Since 2010, Seppo has been with DNA Oyj, where they have held different roles. Seppo started as an ICT Manager and then became the Head of Department for Fixed CCBS. From 2012 to 2015, they served as the Head of Department for BSS. From 2015 to 2021, Seppo held the position of Head of Information Security and Privacy, as well as Data Protection Officer. Seppo currently holds the role of VP of Security at DNA Oyj.

Seppo Pekonen attended HAMK University of Applied Sciences from 1996 to 1999, earning a B.Sc degree in IT-telecomm. Seppo also has additional certifications in Certified process director (2011) and TOGAF 9 F (2011).
