Melissa Rogers

Melissa Rogers is a dedicated family service worker currently employed at Dnaagdawenmag Binnoojiiyag Child & Family Services since January 2022. Previously, Melissa served as the Supervisor of Protection at Niijaansinaanik Child and Family Services and worked as a Child Protection Worker at Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions. With a rich background in community support, Melissa has also held roles such as Vice-Chair at the Biminaawzogin Regional Aboriginal Women's Circle and an Employment Specialist for the YMCA's Youth Quest program. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Social Work (Hons.) from Laurentian University and diplomas in Native Community and Social Development and Advertising from Georgian College.
